Not able to upload XML file

    Hi!

    A couple of days ago my site moved from its host to a new one. I exported all the media and the xml file from the old WordPress and I want to install it on the new one. But when I try to upload it it gives me the following message in a download .php file instead:

    Service Unavailable
    The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

    The xml file is 536KB which should not matter because the max upload is 64MB.

    Anybody got an idea what’s going wrong?

    Judging from the message you receive I suggest contacting the company that owns the new host and ask them whether they have maintenance work. If that’s the case, the issue should go away after they are done with maintenance.
