Not adding new slides

    Since the 4.0 upgrade, I find I cannot add new slides – whether updating and existing slideshow .. or creating a new one .. I can click and go through the media section .. to add or upload .. the slide sidebar shows the new slides added .. but one I click “Update” or “Publish” .. the slide show reverts to its previous state.

    I’m having the same problem but it was happening before I updated to 4.0. I hope they get a fix soon.

    Actually .. I think you are right .. the 4.0 upgrade is just a coincidence .. seems this plug-in can’t handle over 100 slides (give or take) .. my slide show hit that limit as 4.0 was coming out .. and when I tried to create a new one .. I selected over 100 slides.

    Looking at the developer’s site .. apparently this has been an issue from the get-go .. he seems in no hurry to address it either.

    Might be time to shop for a new plugin. I use mine for real estate photos and our high-end listings have more than 100 photos pretty consistently.

    I’m going to look at the NextGen slideshow and see what it can do. What a pain to have to recreate all those slideshows now. 😐

    Hi someone has reported that they got it working with WordPress 4.0. Have you tested whether it is another plugin or your theme that might be causing this issue?
