    Do you have a staging site where this can be replicated in sandbox mode? It would be good if we can perform a full end to end test.

    It’s not uncommon for the Braintree <> PayPal integration to trigger an initial 403 to the patch call because Braintree uses an older API. When that fails, it falls back to the following patch request, which succeeds:

    https://www.paypal.com/smart/api/order/EC-97C73168UL5494452/patch

    I see you’re using the checkout block so I’d like to test to see if something is preventing the checkout process from being triggered.

    Hi,
    I have setup a staging website with braintree in sandbox mode.
    I was able to do a paypal transaction once, but i have tried 5 more times and it is now giving the same error as above.

    Should I post the staging website on here?

    Yes, you can provide the staging site url here. Or if you prefer to keep it private you can contact us via the support widget within the Braintree plugin settings of your WordPress site.
