I am trying to restore my database and I am getting the following wrning:

    This database backup has the following non-core WordPress database tables excluded: lumise_bugs, lumise_categories, lumise_categories_reference, lumise_cliparts, lumise_designs, lumise_fonts, lumise_guests, lumise_images, lumise_languages, lumise_mydesigns, lumise_order_products, lumise_orders, lumise_printings, lumise_products, lumise_sessions, lumise_settings, lumise_shapes, lumise_shares, lumise_tags, lumise_tags_reference, lumise_templates.

    My two questions are:

    1. How can I include the entire databse in the backups?

    2. (more serious) Why since your pluggin skipped backing up my my database, sending successfull messages?

    UpdraftPlus WordPress backup is complete.
Backup contains: Database only (files were not part of this particular schedule)
Latest status: The backup succeeded and is now complete

  • Hi there,

The free version of the plugin does not backup non core tables, this is a Premium feature.
As the supported tables were backed up the plugin is reporting this was done successfully.

I think we will need to look at a method of communicating the info better in this scenario.
Though you did receive a warning it could also be presented in any reporting notifications.

    Best regards,

    Nick

@nrobertsudp @nimonogi The table names in the report above are not names of core WordPress tables. I believe that @nrobertsudp ‘s reply has confused “core table” with “table with this site’s prefix” (since it’s tables with a different site’s prefix that can also be backed up by Premium, rather than non-core tables).

So, the real issue is something else. I will ask a developer to look at this to help find out.

@nimonogi Please can you go to the “Advanced Tools” tab in your UpdraftPlus settings and tell us what it says on the “Table prefix:” row?
