    Hi,

The changing of wp-login.php does not appear to work when Profile Builder is used to allow front end logging in.

PB was working fine when I was changing wp-login.php with WPS Hide Login, however when I uninstalled WPS Hide Login and used the functionality in Shield I get the error:

    —-

    Not Found

The requested URL /login/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    —-

/login is the website page containing the embedded login area.

Shall I switch back to WPS, am I missing something, or will you be able to fix this if it is a bug?

    Many thanks

If you were to take off both the Shield and “Hide Login” and basically remove all login-page renaming, “/login/” will work on WordPress sites anyway. WordPress has this built into the software to handle “/login”.

So, you’re not actually getting any benefit from “changing” your login URL to “/login” as it works anyway.

Thanks, I just thought I’d point out this potential problem

Yep, the next release will account for the case where you try to use “login”. It’s a bug on our side given that we don’t explicitly handle it.

    Thanks!

Cheers for including this in the update. I have changed it from /login anyway based on your information.
