Not compatible with WP Rocket?

If you have this message it means you activate one of your minification options and the same one on Autoptimize.

You can’t use two plugins to minify your content. If you want to use Autoptimize, you have to turned off all minification options from WP Rocket.

Is there any reason for both? I have WP Rocket running on one site – just wondering if Autoptimize adds any performance enhancements I’m not seeing with my current set up.

Thanks. I’m deferring JS with custom function, and the inline CSS I’ve manually added to a main sheet. The real problem I’m working on are the ridiculous amount of server calls to all the external css and js for each plugin, which, when I try to concatenate, break all the things. I might have gone as far as one can with automating performance improvements, and will maybe have to continue chipping away manually.
