• Hey there,

I tried using this plugin on the hosted WordPress today for the first time, and it seems that something is not working out of the box. I created a test service and an assistant, but no matter what short code I put on the page, it doesn’t do anything. I tried disabling all plugins, but no luck. Also, when I try to access any /sln_* permalinks, I’m getting a 404 error.

Not sure what went wrong as this is out of the box hosting and plugin installation.

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

it’s very likely that you placed the “services list” shortcode in the same page where the booking form shortcode is.

In the “booking” page, that the plugin creates automatically, should be only one shortcode:

    [salon/]

Also, you don’t need to create any test assistant or service, as the plugin do itself on first install.

    That was it! Thank you!

Another question, when I book an appt as a customer, and create an account I’m getting “Salon Customer” role, and this role has access to media:

Is there any way to restrict that?

    Hi,

“salon customer” role has the same priviledges of “Subscriber” role.

You can install a plugin like this: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/remove-dashboard-access-for-non-admins/
