Not For Newbies

I’m fairly technically literate and can easily find my way around. But this freaking plug-in has broken my site twice. It’s bloated out my Database to 6GB and now takes forever to take a snapshot whenever I make a change. So I temporarily deactivated it while I made a few adjustments in my caching setting and then reactivated it (or tried to) and it froze, hung, would not reactivate and ultimately broke the site so that neither the home page nor the admin panel would load. I used their recovery script to to deactivate WP Reset and now my site is back up but I’ve got a DB that’s so big it’s created other problems- and because it wont activate without breaking everything, I cant clean the DB with the Bloat it created. In 16 years working with WP, this is the freaking worst thing I’ve ever had on my site. No I’m not exaggerating – this plugin is pure crap. All you praising, wait till you discover all the bloat in about a month! WP Reset has totally messed with my site and after 3 support requests I still haven’t heard a word from anyone. Good Luck!
