Not fully understanding…

Hi, I can’t seem to wrap my head around some of this regardless of how many times I read the documentation or go over this support forum.

I have uploaded 2 versions of all of my graphics ( i.e. graphic1.png and [email protected] ) I have read that this isn’t necessary and I only need to upload a single image double the size I need and the plugin will do the rest. How does it know what size I need the standard image/graphic need to be? The theme I am using (either enfold or ‘X’ as examples) has me upload an image without option to set the width/height. I upload the correct size image to see the correct size on the frontend. If I upload an image double the size…what tells WP to only load an image half that size?

The actual issue I am having can be seen here: http://www.melitagroup.com . The logo appears to work correctly but down the page the icons BC, HRC, and HRS don’t seem to upload the @2x version no matter what I do. My client keeps complaining these are blurry on his retinal device. All icons have thier ‘@2x’ duplicate uploaded into the same media folder and I have selected the .js method and debug mode. Still not working.

Any ideas?
