Assuming you’ve checked junk folders and have asked your host about it, as a test, try to reset your password from the reset link when you log in (/wp-admin). If you don’t get that email, something is blocking the “from” address from being received either by your email client, your host or your isp.
webbrewers,
The comments are in the spam folder. WP has never dumped the
comment emails into spam? Wonder why?
Thanks so much for responding to my question!

It’s not WP doing it – spam filters are usually controlled by your email host (or the client you view email in). You can always add the “from” address to a safe senders list so it doesn’t keep happening.
PS – the notification email for your reply was in my spam folder!
If I get repeat comments from the same people, I realize I can add
them to a list. For new commenters, I guess I just have to look at my
spam folder regularly? I am in the habit of ignoring my spam folder,
so I will try a little behavior modification.
Thanks!
Take a look at the “from” address – that’s what needs to be added to “safe senders”. Spam filters won’t see the commenter’s address…
The comments don’t come from your viewers emails. They are from your own website email address. If you accidentally hit the spam button after looking at a comment, all future comments will go to spam, until you change to not spam.
I’ve done this myself..

For the 4 years I have been running this blog I have been getting
email notification when a comment is made. All of a sudden, the comments
show up on posts, but I have not been getting emails.
Can someone help me check this out? And suggest a fix?
Many Thanks!
Jeff
