Sorry to hear you’re unhappy with the plugin. In relation to the theme selection this seems more than an expanded ecosystem grievance rather than an AMP plugin limitation. The 60+ themes we have on the plugins website are themes that we know of which are explicitly compatible.
Was there any particular theme you were looking to use with AMP? If so maybe we could take a look at the theme and assist you with any programmatic changes if required.
