    1. I am seeing the download numbers on the “all downloads” however there is nothing in the download log. I have enabled logging in the settings. I even disabled and the re-enabled and then downloaded a file (while logged in as admin) and the file download number went up a tick.

I had read that the download doesn’t get tracked if I am logged in as the admin… However I downloaded a file from a “preview post” and the download number went up still. Just a side issue…

    2. From the “all downloads” tab, when I try to order the downloads by any category (i.e. title, id, downloads) it does not reorder… No error message. It just doesn’t change anything.

    3. When I try to change the download count number on a selected file (in the “downloadable files/versions section) the download count displays a number (7) but it is grayed out and I cannot change to 0.

I was going to try uninstalling and re-installing the plugin, if I did so would I have to recreate all the downloads?

    1. So the download count at the download went up but there’s no log for this?

    2. You mean in the admin? This isn’t sortable by category.

    3. Just test this and it’s working fine locally. What version of Download Monitor are you using?

I was going to try uninstalling and re-installing the plugin, if I did so would I have to recreate all the downloads?

    No, all downloads will persist.

    1. The download ticker goes up (on the all downloads section and in the dashboard widget)

When I go to the log section I see this:

I have turned on logging in the settings…

    2. on the first pic above, if I try to sort by “download count” it doesn’t do anything, even though it is clickable…

    3. I am using most recent version as we’ve just begun using your plugin about 2 days prior to my first post.

Just released version 1.7.2 which fixes this issue.

I’ve just installed on wordpress 4.2 with the new 1.7.2 version, unfortunately the missing logs issue appears to still be present .

I also tried the upgrade to 4.2.1 in case it helped, no joy unfortunately!

It appears not to be logging anything at all in the database assuming the data should be under wp_download_log > Columns . Thought i’d mention 🙂

    Thanks.
