    Hi,
the link is about the English version of the FAQs.
    Two problems:
    1) the shortcode loads ALL the FAQ Italian+English. Also, the Italian ones that have not been translated. On this page, we should have only the ones that have the selected language.

    2) Autocomplete: if I use it shows results, I click on the result and get the error: nothing found

    3) Search. Autocomplete disabled. I search for a term like “race” and I get the result in ITALIAN not the translated one in English. So it searches in English but retrieves the results in ITALIAN…

    Thanks

  • Your Italian and English FAQ pages seem to be using different page templates. The English one has nothing in the sidebar and a contact form below the FAQs as well as more FAQs below that contact form. Your Italian one has stuff in the sidebar, including more FAQs, and no form underneath.

First, try removing the FAQs from the sidebar and everywhere else, to make sure they aren’t conflicting. You only want to have one set of FAQs on your page.

Also, make sure you use the exact same page template for both pages.

It might also be related to the issue here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/why-are-my-custom-post-types-displayed-in-all-languages/

    Thanks for your reply.
The problem is not the template as I get the same result on a plain page

The problem seems to be on the Suppress filters issue.
From the post you linked above I don’t understand what code exactly to add, as is referred to portfolio and categories.
What should I add in Functions.php?
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi tommaso,

Perhaps there is something that can be changed in our plugin code instead. I’m not an expert with WPML, so I don’t know what that might be. I can tell you that are custom post type and taxonomies are registered correctly. I can also tell you that the two files that handles the search functionality are Display_FAQ_Search.php in the Shortcodes folder and Process_Ajax.php in the Functions folder. Perhaps you can create a thread on that WPML support forum and, if necessary, share the code of our search with them, and see if they have any suggestions for how to integrate their filters to help in this case.
