Hi, the plugin is installed, set up and working almost fine. I just have a couple of issues:

    a) when pressing ‘cookie settings’, in the pop-up box all cookie categories are set by default on ‘disabled’. I therefore enabled them from the back-end of the website, selecting the category and setting the category default state to ‘enabled’… but the situation in the cookie settings pop-up doesn’t change: even if I reload the page, the cookies categories are still all disabled by default. I’d like to have them all enabled by default.

    b) I am not sure I’m doing the right thing when it comes to avoid Google Analytics tracking: when users do not accept the related analytics cookie, GA seems to be still tracking. Is it because I connected my website to GA through Site Kit? Should I disconnect Site Kit and paste the GA tracking code inside the related cookie category field? I checked your video but when it’s time to explain that part, the interface of the plugin seems to be different – probably an old version of the plugin. What I’m looking for, here, is to actually avoid tracking (or anything the cookie does) if a user disable a cookie.

Thanks a lot for your help!

    Hi @dannunzio,

    Greetings from Webtoffee!

    A) We checked your site and found the category default state is now enabled. We are able to view it in the front end. We assume you couldn’t view it immediately when you changed the default state because of caching. So when you make a change in the plugin to reflect t immediately on the front end purge your cache.

    B) As you are a free version user we recommend adding the GA script via our plugin category(Analytics). You will find the script section when you edit the category, please paste the script there so that it will stay blocked until the user gives consent to that category. However, in the premium version, there is a default script blocker that when turned on automatically blocks the scripts of GA added to your site via site kit. Sorry about the video, we will consider changing the video.
