NOT PROCESSING: Video Embed & Thumbnail Generator Encoding Queue

    Hi,

    For some reason, my que isn’t processing. Cron is for SURE running on my other jobs, but this que seems to not move.

    I have 15 videos waiting, and have to manually tick each one, and they do transcode. But then… it just waits for me to click start on the next one.

    Thoughts?

    Video is already queued in position 27. Replace original with 720p H.264 already encoded

    As you can see, I have 27 in que but the que wont run!!!

    Was it working before you upgraded to WordPress 4.2? I haven’t figured out what they are yet, but it seems like there might be some changes in 4.2 that are interfering with the plugin. If you leave the queue page open does it move on to the next one or does it just stop? Can you turn on WP_DEBUG_LOG and see if there are any error messages that can point me in the right direction? When you say Cron is for sure running, are you referring to wp-cron? Are you able to see any kgvid wp-cron hooks using a plugin like Advanced Cron Manager?

    Thanks for your timely reply, here’s what I found:

    – Works the same on 4.2.1 as it ever did

    – I am running a script executing every 60 seconds to update some stuff, and that’s working great.

    I don’t see any errors while logging :S

    Ah I see what you’re saying about Cron Manager. Here is my current list of Cron:

    The only kgvid reference is kgvid_cleanup_queue

    It appears I may be missing some cron functions!?

    Are you using a plugin to copy your videos to Amazon S3 or some other cloud storage? Do you have FFMPEG set to encode more than one video at a time?

    I made a number of improvements to the encoding queue in version 4.5 of the plugin which was released today. I would love to know if you’re still having problems.
