• I decided to remove the plugin as it also stopped images loading on the page, slow load time, issues refreshing the page. Editing php pages and finding ways to replace the default wordpress comments defeats the entire reason of installing a plugin. I’ll use one of the other FB comments plugins.

The author just referred to a small sentence within the plugins settings where editing php pages is needed, after doing that it still wasn’t good. The topic was also set to “resolved” before I even had a chance to reply.

  • It is resolved! This plugin is used on 100,000’s of sites, and each time there are issues from support it is always connected to a third party issue. For example here, you weren’t happy with the placement of the comment box. There are clear instructions on the plugin homepage on how to insert the shortcode anywhere within your theme (which had not been read before you posted in the support section).

This plugin is extremely robust and flexible, and I support this as much as I can. I cannot possibly give bespoke feedback for every support thread, especially when instructions to the solution are on the plugin homepage.

Because your third party issue has not been fixed (because you have not confirmed that you have in fact disabled other problems to see if the problem still arises) and placement issues are solved within the plugin homepage I marked it as resolved.

Making this a 1 star so quickly after my response is disproportionate. Before you give this plugin (not support for the plugin) a 1 star, please check all this.
