I have the same issue. Please help. Thank you.
Hi,
Can you tell me what version of WordPress (Multisite?) and Profile Builder are you using? Are you trying to create users logged in as admin or your users are registering using the Registration page? Keep in mind that on single-site installations this works with front-end forms only.
Please check in Settings – General – Membership – Anyone can register is checked.
Best regards,
Hello Teodor,
I am using WordPress Singlesite version 4.2.3 and Profile Builder version 2.1.9
My users are registering using the front-end Registration forms (page) only.
In Settings – General – Membership, Anyone can register is checked.
Meanwhile, I noticed that the users eventually received email confirmation, to complete their registration, about 1 hour after initial registration. This delay is too much. I felt that there should be a maximum of one minute delay.

Stardrive
Hi,
This delay is not caused by our plugin and we do not have a delay time settings. There could be a number of issues going on with the mail server. It usually boils down to either the mailserver is overloaded (this can happen on a shared server) or something isn’t configured correctly. One option would be to contact your host and ask them to run some tests on the mailserver.
Can you contact your hosting and ask them to look into this problem?
Best regards,
Thank you so much for your kind explanation and recommendation.
I will surely contact my web hosting company and ask them to look into this problem?

Hi,
I am glad that I could help you. I will mark this post as resolved.
Best regards,
Hi, sorry if I re-open this issue but mine isn’t resolved yet. I see that other e-mails from WordPress get dispatched without problems.
What frustrates me most is that the e-mail confermation used to work perfectly. It stopped some months ago and I don’t know why.
How can I check the e-mail settings of Profile Builder (what mail server is used to send e-mails and so on)?
Do you have any other suggestion?
Thank you.
Hi,
It is best to create another post for your issue because this is marked as resolved.
Did you checked your spam folder? Can you try to deactivate all other plugins and use a default WordPress theme? What version of WordPress and Profile Builder are you using? Please update to the latest versions. What did you changed months ago?
Best regards,
I updated both WordPress and the Profile Builder plugin and now it works. I didn’t mean to bother you with a problem with such a simple solution. I had already tried updating the first time the problem came out, but it didn’t work then that’s why I didn’t think it could solve the problem. It did this time luckily for me. Thanks again.
Hi,
You didn’t bother me with your issue. You did the right thing to look for help here and I’m glad that you fixed your problem.
