Not Receiving Notification E-mails

I logged into my site last night and checked Support Plus to find new tickets dating back to August. Previously, I have relied on e-mail notification to know that a new ticket was filed (the feature is used intermittently so I only check it when I receive an email). I did not received a notification for the last 10-15 entries over the last couple of months. Previously, the email notifications had been working. I have not updated any settings, so I am not sure what has caused the problem. I checked the spam feature, and it seems to be fine. Any ideas?
