Not receiving wordpress confirmation user email

Hello,

I changed the email address under the user section of my site and it says a confirmation email will be sent to me but I am not receiving the wordpress confirmation email. I have checked my spam folders and everything but I am still not receiving the email (I’ve set up other users with different emails and same thing)

The emails are gmail emails and my website is hosted on AWS.
