Can you make it where it’s not required to have event dates? We want it to be TIME TBA, which may require a little programming. Is there an option in the settings to not require it?

this isn’t possible at the moment; however, maybe you can use combinations of conditional placeholder for this – http://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/conditional-placeholders/
