• WP 6.7.2, uipress lite 3.5.01

The “Fullscreen mode” setting in the Gutenberg editor’s preferences isn’t working. If the setting is disabled/unchecked, it should show the editor within the uipress admin UI, but nothing happens.

I’m also seeing a possibly-related problem in some Formidable pages, which are also fullscreen. Parts of the uipress interface are z-index-fighting/overlapping with fullscreen admin pages. Based on this behavior, I’d guess that similar things might be happening with any admin UI that doesn’t load the normal WP sidebar.

This appears to be mostly fixed in 3.5.05. One particularly odd thing—in the Gutenberg editor (non-fullscreen), if I have the editor’s Settings sidebar open, the Options dropdown loads underneath the sidebar. This appears to be mostly a WP core issue based on their assumption that Gutenberg always loads fullscreen?

Hey, could you provide a screenshot of the issue with the options dropdown so we are both on the same page?

The problem is still present, in full-screen-mode the Gutenberg header is not switching to the full-screen-bar, you can’t press the “Save” button. You first have to press the full-screen-switch button. Also, the z-index of the three-dotted menu on the right side is not working correctly, it lays under the right sidebar. I have disabled all other plugins, to check if the issue comes from another, but it is still an issue with UiPress Lite.

In the console: Error 404, /wp-json/wp/v2/uip-admin-menu?per_page=100&status=publish, but I don’t have the admin menu function active.
