Not Reverting Back from Webp

I wasn’t too happy with webp’s quality so I wanted to switch back to PNG/JPEG. I deactivated the plugin then uninstalled it, but all the images on my (even the ones uploaded after the uninstall) are still in webp.

I deleted all webp images using the plugin before uninstalling, cleared my website’s cache, and renamed/uploaded empty .htaccess files to the wp_content folder but nothing seems to work.

I have another client project in the works and I really need to get this resolved ASAP. Any help is appreciated.
