Hey Kristie!
While our CPT does default to being searchable, it could be you have a form that is filtering results.
Our recent update, v1.28, adds a shortcode to search your Testimonials, specifically, as well as an option that will either allow or disallow Testimonials from being Searchable (it defaults to true.)

Just purchased the pro version hoping that would help plus I am wanting more display themes…..great plug in
Unfortunately the search is not pulling anything from the testimonials and I do have it set to search in the options…..help!

As this is now a Pro plugin matter, I will followup with you in our ticket system (I believe we have one open there.)
It could be that the search setup on your site is limiting results to specific post types — have you tried using our search form shortcode?

I wanted to update this thread that we discovered the issue to be related to a Recipes Ultimate plugin that was rewriting the search queries to make recipes searchable (in a way that was blocking testimonials from being searchable.)
We ended up modifying pre_get_posts on search queries to address the issue.
