What change(s) did you make recently before you lost the visual editor?
Have you tried:
– making sure your user has the visual editor active
– deactivating all plug-ins and reactivating one-by-one to see if the visual editor is back
There are other things to check but these are the ones I’d try first.

Where would i look to see if it is active? I had uninstalled and reinstalled deactivated and reactivated just the tiny mce plugins but you mean all?
TinyMCE is the default visual editor that comes with WordPress – it doesn’t require installing a plug-in as it’s already there in the core installation of WordPress.
Are you talking about something else, like some extended TinyMCE editor, perhaps? Can you provide a link to it in the plug-in repository?

That plug-in looks to have been discontinued. Maybe either deactivate & delete it, or upgrade to the Ultimate TinyMCE plugin as suggested on the page you linked to above.
Try to upload it again that happened with me .
Hmmm I tried deleting and uploading it again and it didn’t work. I uninstalled and reinstalled all plugins one by one that didn’t work. I even changed my theme and it still doesn’t work… hmmmm
If that’s the case I would do one of these, as I mentioned earlier. Good luck!

Yeah even that does not work. none of the tiny mce plugins work, anymore. Must be some code i screwed up somewhere. I’m gonna keep trying otherwise if u all have any more ideas let me know. Cheers
I guess I’m not understanding something key. Why do you need a plug-in at all? Is the default TinyMCE visual editor missing something in particular that you need, and if so, what?
well none of the buttons to design the text are there. And esp the important one is the ability to switch from html to style.
