    We are not receiving notifications for the bookings received (although luckily we can see them in the bookings manager), and even customers aren’t receiving emails.

    Also when i tried booking from the website to test it, i noticed the plugin is very slow and isn’t giving any confirmation message at the end of the process, looks more like a page not working properly.

    It sounds like you’re having some broader issues with your site that you’ll need to investigate. I can give you an indication of where to look, but I won’t be able to troubleshoot the issues for you.

    There are many things that can effect email delivery, many of them related to your email server configuration. The FAQ includes a 5-step checklist to help you narrow down the source of the issue, and guidance on how to contact your web host if you need to dig in further:

    If you’re having performance issues when submitting the form, it could indicate problems with database writes on your server, or perhaps a third-party plugin that is causing some performance issues. My first recommendation would be to switch to a default theme, like TwentySeventeen, and deactivate all other plugins. Then try submitting the booking form and seeing if it’s still slow. If it’s not, you can start reactivating plugins and test as you go to find the source of the problem. If it is still slow, you may need to contact your web host to diagnose further what’s causing the slow-down. They should be able to help you check error logs to try and determine the source of the issue.
