Not showing
-
Hi.
I am experiencing some troubles with the Hustle plugin… Until now it worked perfectly but I noticed that the newsletter signup is not working (pop-up). Firstly I have a problem when someone signs up it shoves the error message. I have tried resetting the plugin and can not get a popup to show up at all. I have tried to disable all plugins and the problem still appears…
Hope you can help me.

Hi @timotejf
I hope you’re well today!
We’ll need some more information:
1. the error that shows up when somebody tries to sign up – what exactly does that error say (perhaps you could share a screenshot)?
2. WordPress, theme and all the plugins (including Hustle) are up to date, right?
3. are you using any caching and/or JS/CSS optimization plugins on site and if yes, what are they?
4. is there any server-side cache active?
5. what PHP version is powering your site?
6. since it worked fine before, did you notice if it stopped working right after e.g. some updates or changes on site and if yes, what updates/changes?
Let us know, please.
It would also be helpful if we could check your popup and for this you can export it from the site by going to the “Hustle -> Popups” page and using “Export” option from menu under the little “gear” icon next to popup in question.
Once you have export file, put it on your Google Drive, Dropbox or similar account and post direct (publicly viewable) link to it in response below. This way we’ll also be able to import popup to test site and test it and check its configuration.
Best regards,
AdamHi @timotejf,
Since we haven’t heard from you for a while. I’ll mark this thread as resolved for now. Please feel free to re-open the thread if you need further assistance.
Best Regards
NithinHi,
Sorry for the late response.
After doing some work (enabling and disabling plugins and files) and resetting Hustle plugin I can not get it to show on the main page.
All plugins and themes are up to date.
I am using Cloudflare chasing, tried to clear up the chase, and still, the popup is not visible.Current PHP: 7.4
Pop-up exported: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mc3pxqcljoxj1d9/hustle-popup-20221020-070542-sej-ni-vaZn-email-prijava.json?dl=0

TimotejHi @timotejf,
I took a closer look at how the pop-up is configured and could notice you have enabled the Custom option for Pop-up size (under the Appearance tab), but a height is not defined. I defined a height, and the pop-up showed up on my end.
Please try to define a height at your end and let us know if you still notice any issues.

Nebu JohnHi,
Unforchently no luck.
I have defined a height (500×800) but it still does not show on the site. It is showing as it should when I preview it but on the actual site not…
Also cleared up the cache but the problem is still present.Hustle preview https://ibb.co/WDmSgYv

TimotejHi @timotejf
I’ve tested your popup on my site again and it worked for me too there. The “catch” is it is set to show on “exit intent with 5 seconds delay” meaning that it won’t show “immediately” and it’s also set to “Trigger once per pageview” so if you have already seen it, you won’t see it again until you do another unique pageview which may be a bit misleading.
But if it doesn’t work at all for you, it’d be good if we could take a look at the page in question as there may be something “breaking” it. Could you share a link to the page where this popup is expected to show up?
Best regards,
AdamHi.
After some more debugging I have been able to make it show on the website. Problem was that I did not have to enable “show Immediately” in the behavior tab (do not know but it has turned itself off…)
Now to return to the first problem. When a user tries to sign up for the newsletter it shows an error.
I have removed and integrated Mailchimp thinking it would solve the problem but no luck…
Note: error massage was customized to be in the local language. This was done in “Edit Field” in Hustle plugin.Error in popup: https://ibb.co/WzTGkLk

Hi @timotejf
After doing some work (enabling and disabling plugins and files) and resetting Hustle plugin I can not get it to show on the main page.
Have you also performed the full plugin and theme conflict test, leaving only the Hustle active with default WordPress theme and get the same result?
Kind regards,
ZaferHi Zafer.
Yes, I have tried it. The problem is still present.

HI @timotejf
Thank you for response!
I just tested your popup again on a test site and it worked there. I then tried to submit e-mail through the popup on your site and I can see the error there.
However, there’s no related errors in browser console and not other issues indicated. If a conflict test didn’t reveal anything, it may be a matter of some sort of firewall or cache on server or in CloudFlare. Even if it’s not, we’d need to rule it out first.
Could you try temporarily pausing/unproxying CloudFlare for the site and then checking if it works?
Also, if there’s any server-level cache on site, try clearing it fully too.
Let us know if this makes any difference or not, please.
Kind regadrs,
AdamHi Adam,
Unfortunately, the error is still present after trying suggested solutions.
Best,
TimotejHi @timotejf,
That’s strange that the issue is still showing up for you but not for us. Can you please check this using,
1) private/incognito window
2) a different browser
3) a different device
4) a different internet service providerPlease let us know how that goes so we can help you further.
Kind Regards,
Nebu JohnHi,
unfortunately, I still get error after entering email.
Hi @timotejf,
I rechecked this at our end and could still replicate the issue on your website. Can you please let us know the WordPress, Hustle, and PHP versions used on your website so we can recheck this?
Please enable WP_DEBUG_LOG and check if any error is being logged in the debug.log file. Please find more details regarding this here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/
We look forward to hearing back from you.
Kind Regards,
Nebu JohnHi,
sorry for the late reply.
Have done some more debugging and can not find any reason why am I getting this error.
As requested:
WP: 6.1.1
Hustle: 7.6.1
PHP: 7.4After running WP_DEBUG I am only getting these errors:
13-Dec-2022 20:41:39 UTC] PHP Notice: Constant WP_MEMORY_LIMIT already defined in /home/”HIDDEN”/sejnivazn.si/wp-config.php on line 103
Best,
Timotej
