Not showing latest posts

    Hi,

    We are using your plugin on this website. We use this shortcode:
    [custom-facebook-feed id=cafedehook]

    There you see that the latest post is from 2 months ago. While on the Facebook page you can see that latest post is from the 13th of june. “We hebben wat nieuwe speciaalbieren om te proeven bij de Hook….”

    Why am i not seeing all the posts which are posted on the Facebook page?

    Hey bonsaimedia,

    Please look at the feed on our demo page here. What you will notice when comparing to your Facebook Page posts timeline here is that the very first post showing in your timeline is a “pinned post” which is a post “pinned to the top of your timeline but the actual posting date is June 13, 2018. When making requests for data Facebook returns posts in chronological order of the actual date posted which means in a feed this post would show up farther down in the feed.

    If you compare the demo display to the Facebook page timeline display you will see the June 13, 2018 post showing up in it’s proper actual posted order and it is the 3rd post in the demo feed. The reason that the event postings are not showing up in the demo is because Facebook now requires that a Page access token be required to display any event posting from a feed. You can find out more here on how to obtain a Page access token which will then allow you to display the events in a timeline.
