not tested with current WP version

    This plug-in is still reporting that it hasn’t been tested with WP 7.0. I normally don’t like to update plug-ins that aren’t tested with my WP version. However, since the stripe plug-in is a bit mission-critical, I’d prefer to keep it up to date. Advice?

    I completely understand your caution, especially since Stripe is a mission-critical component of your store.

    Could you please let us know exactly where you are seeing this notice that the plugin has not been tested with WordPress 7.0? A screenshot would also be helpful.

    The WooCommerce Stripe Gateway plugin is compatible with WordPress 7.0. You can verify this by navigating to Plugins → Installed Plugins, locating WooCommerce Stripe Gateway, and clicking View details. In the plugin details popup, you should see that it is listed as compatible with WordPress 7.0.

    As a best practice, I would recommend first updating the plugin on a staging site and running a few test transactions to verify that everything works as expected with your current setup. If those tests are successful, you can then proceed with updating the plugin on your live site.

    Thanks for that response. It looks like it was just updated to show that it has been tested with 7.0. At the time I posted my question, the plug-in showed something like “Tested up to 6.x“
