Yes I did,
GA: https://app.screencast.com/DGAzm5DJoDVU2 Google Tag not detected. That said there seems to be data on real time report: https://app.screencast.com/99oOoPIfuOZXZ So it is odd!
Google Ads – I am presuming it is set up correctly, as I cannot test as we have not completed the Google Shopping setup… Which is the purchase conversion I want to track.

I still have ‘Now Tag Found’ in Google Analytics – https://app.screencast.com/vhknybOFCQfyP altought data seems to coming through
And in Google ads I can’t tell if the ‘Conversion tracking’ is working at the moment it states it is misconfigured!

1. We don’t recommend using GA4 for setting up Google Ads purchase events: https://sweetcode.com/docs/wpm/faq#which-is-better-to-use-google-ads-native-conversion-actions-or-imported-ga4-conversions
2. When you test for the gtag don’t use the GA4 test tool. The Pixel Manager injects the tag dynamically and not into the HTML source of the web page. This is working perfectly fine, but the simple GA4 scanner doesn’t detect this. Use the Google Tag Assistant instead to verify the tag: https://tagassistant.google.com/
3. Make sure test in a browser that doesn’t have any ad blockers active and also ensure to properly set up the cookie banner if you have one. Use only a compatible one and accept all cookies, otherwise the gtag might not be loaded by the Pixel Manager.

1. I have not set that up, I have followed your instructions for Google Ads conversions.
2. I haven’t set up Google Tag manager as your instructions say they are not needed?
So do i need to connect Google Ads to Google Tag manager?

I didn’t mention the Google Tag Manager, no. I only mentioned Google Tag Assistant. That’s what you need to use for testing.

Yes, very likely. As explained the GA4 testing tool is not made to detect the event properly.
You can send us a support request to [email protected] including the debug information from the support page of the plugin. Our support engineers will show you how to detect the purchase event.
