• I am testing this theme (and just emailed the developers with a few questions before I upgrade to pro) but I’ve just encountered what seems like a huge design flaw: this theme is supposed to be responsive but when I downsize my browser to test, the following errors occur:
    * the custom header logo does not downsize to fit the browser window
    * in the Homepage Slider, the title continues to appear but is not downsized to scale and so the description no longer appears
    * on the blog page, the sidebars disappear instead of moving to bottom of screen as I have seen on other responsive sites, which renders the sidebars inaccessible on mobile devices

I was initially excited to have found this theme (as it appears to do what I need it to do, at least in the pro version) but these issues are causing doubt. Is anyone else having these issues with this theme?

    Hello Bad_Egg,

Sento is truly responsive. The issues you’re experiencing sound like a conflict of some sort is arising on your site. If you would like us to help please can you add a link to your website and I’ll be happy to take a look at the issues further.

Also, please ensure you’ve checked for plugin conflicts, or conflicts with other 3rd party code you might be running.

    Thanks!

Sorry, not possible. I downloaded your theme to test before adding any kind of plugins or modifying any code. Either there is conflict with the latest version of WP, or the theme doesn’t work as advertised.

In any case, I’ve moved on. It’s been a month.

Ok thanks for the feedback. Obviously we can’t help you in that case. The theme works exactly as advertised so you may want to check your site for issues. We could have helped if our theme was still active.

Regardless as we can’t see your site and the issue hasn’t been reported by other users, I can only conclude the issue is on your end. If you do ever want us to look into it in future and Sento is active please feel free to get back in touch.

And yet the other responsive design sites I also tested worked as advertised … hmmm. As I said, I checked your theme before adding plugins or third-party anything. I was just at the stage where I was trying to find a new theme to meet my needs. It was even loaded into its own separate folder on my server, away from my current sites.

    Anyhow, onwards and upwards.

    Hi Bad_Egg.

Themes can have completely different code bases. So an issue which happens for one theme doesn’t necessarily happen for others. (e.g. class and ID names are often different, 3rd party libraries, etc…). It’s always important to test an issue in isolation.

Regardless, we’re always happy to help our users where a genuine theme issue is identified. If you think that’s the case here then of course we’ll be happy to help.

As it sounds like you no longer need our help I’ll go ahead and mark this ticket as resolved as the issue can’t be tested on your site and cannot be replicated on our end.

    Thanks for reaching out.

I too cannot see my sidebar widgets on mobile device at the bottom. They just do not show up on my mobile device at all. I’m trying to view them on iPhone. The site is:
