• This morning I tried to duplicate an old event in m website calendar but it doesnt’ work properly.
After pushing “duplicate” button under he event i want to duplicate I was “teleported” to the list of all articles in my website. I, obviously check in the preferences of this plug-in, and I confirm you that “Redirect after clicking Duplicate” is set to: duplicate edit screen.

in case I tried duplicate an article or a page, everything works fine!

Can you check if it’s a real bug?
WordPress version is 6.8.2, php version is: 8.2.29

    Hello,

We understand that when using the “Duplicate” button for an event in the Events Manager plugin, you’re redirected to the posts list instead of the expected edit screen, despite the Duplicate Page plugin settings being configured to redirect to the “duplicate edit screen.”

Our Duplicate Page plugin provides functionality to duplicate pages, posts, and supported custom post types, redirecting to the edit screen or saving as a draft based on your settings. However, the Events Manager plugin includes its own built-in “Duplicate” feature, which is separate from our plugin’s functionality.

To clarify, if you’re using the “Duplicate” button provided by Events Manager, the behavior you described may be expected, as it’s controlled by their plugin, not ours. To duplicate events reliably, we recommend using the Events Manager “Duplicate” button:

    1. Go to Events > All Events.
    2. Edit the desired event.
    3. Click the Duplicate button in the event edit screen.

You do not need to use the Duplicate Page plugin for duplicating events, as Events Manager already provides this functionality.
Our plugin shows the duplicate action button with the text “Duplicate this”.
