• I’ve been unable to get this plugin to work at all. It is installed on the currently newest WordPress (4.1.1), and activated as i can see it asks me for a captcha verification around my site.. I’ve enabled it for every way possible for a user to send some input to my site (register/login/comment etc.) but the spambots seem to dont care about this and somehow get through it without ANY problems at all. Today i had to remove 1500+ spam comments AND users from the site again. Last time i did that was around a month ago, also with this plugin installed. I can because of this not recommend the plugin. I’ve been trying to figure out if theres a way the spambots registers through the site that does not have a captcha verification, but i simply dont know where that should be on my site, as im not using any third party plugins that could allow for this.

  • Hi Da9L,

Unfortunately, none of the captcha plugins guarantee 100% spam security.

    1) Please check if captcha works and blocks submission if entered incorrectly.
    2) We can recommend you to increase captcha complexity on the settings page and update to the recent version if you haven’t done it yet.
    3) Maybe our plugin Limit Attempts (http://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/limit-attempts/) will help – With this plugin, you can limit user’s attempts to log in to your website and, consequently, block the user for a certain period of time.
