not working
-
Hi
I FTP the zif file (and the jpg, just in case) into my server
I used as suggested the following code snippet
[zoomify file=”{fileUrl}” skin={Default}]
result:
-
error 404 not found
just to be purist
I’ve change it to
[zoomify file=”{}” skin={Default}]`[zoomify file=”{<a href=”http://thepeoplespicture.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/largestFinalversion1-flat.zif”</a>}” skin={Default}]’
ok, now is asking me to add mime extension to the server?
apologies now is more or less working
right code:[zoomify file=”http://thepeoplespicture.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/largestFinalversion1-flat.zif” skin=Default]
how can we tweak the view now? it looks a little clumpsy
Hi Pau,
The notation of the parameters is somewhat confusing I guess. I changed the description to make it more clear how the parameters should be used.
The new version is out, and it it now possible to set the initial zoom for the zoomify image.Hi, Sander, this is awesome!
I’ve updated the plugin
thanks
but somehow i cannot make it workthe mosaic has now disappeared
even going back to previous versions?[zoomify file=”http://thepeoplespicture.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Finalversion1-big-flat.zif” skin=”Light”]
Are you sure the plugin is working now?
Dear Pau, the issue was a broken link to the included js file. This is fixed in the latest plugin release which will be available shortly. Thanks again for reporting the bug and your patience!
hi Sander!
i am using touchfolio and would like to use your plugin.. i already tried severall times but somehow cannot make it work..i am not into programming ..means i just use and poke around , but here i feel i need your advice…[zoomify file=”http://franzkonrad.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/baumgartner.zif” skin=”Default”]
what could be wrong?
Hi Sander, I’m having problems too. I’ve checked the parameters several times and also the direct link to my .zif file, but I’m getting a “error related to network status” message.
[zoomify file=”http://www.centraldocks.co.uk/wp-content/pier_head_liverpool_1900.zif”, skin=Default”]

scouserdave. Reason: typo
Hi Dave,
My first guess based on your example code is that this is related to a missing double quote.
In your link it says [… skin=Default”], but you should wrap each option you use in double quotes like so: [… skin=”Default”]
Please let me know if this fixes your issue.
Regards,
SanderHi Sander,
thanks for pointing out my typo. I really hoped that was the reason, but unfortunately not.
I forgot to mention that my .zif file exceeds the maximum upload file of 8MB, so I ftp it to my website. I’ve just noticed that it doesn’t appear in my library after it has been uploaded.
Thanks,
Dave -
