    Hello Ryan,

    I like very much the idea of CSMI plugin, it would be perfect for me but unfortunately when it’s activated I have some problems with WP, for example I can’t add new posts, other plugins don’t work properly, bulk actions doesn’t work and others.

    I’m using 4.7.4 WP and Auberge Theme

    I also tried it with 4.7 WP, I tried other themes and I deactivated all other plugins.

    Do you have any advice to solve the problem?

    Hi Omar – I’m not able to replicate the problem. I tested with 4.7.4 on several default WP themes and it seems to be working fine. Please try it with the Twenty Sixteen theme and all other plugins disabled.

    Hello Ryan,
    thanks for your quick response.
    Unfortunately I tried to do what you suggested but nothing changed.

    I realized that when the plugin is activated, I click on publish new post and it doesn’t work, it doesn’t update the page, in fact when I leave the page WP displays “This page is asking you to confirm that you want to leave – data you have entered may not be saved”.
    But later looking at “All Posts”, the new post appears as draft and I have to switch it manually to publish. Bulk action doesn’t work.
    If I switch off the plugin everything works properly.

    I also tried to install a new WP but nothing changes.

    Hi Omar,

    You’re right – after doing a fresh install of WP, I see now that WP changed the structure of the menus in and it completely breaks the plugin. Unfortunately I’m not going to have time to rewrite it any time soon. 🙁

    I could be interested in paying for that plugin, if the price is reasonable.

    Hi Ryan,
    I installed a new WP, Twenty Fifteen Theme. I saw changes on Menu but there are still the same conflicts with WP.
    It seems there are problems for creating posts, pages, bulk actions, I tried to set a static page and a post page but WP doesn’t save changes, Geolite database files download doesn’t work.

    Ok, I’ll look into it. I just did a new WP install, installed CSMI, and saw that I couldn’t post a new post, like you said. However, once I added a menu and menu item, then I could post.

    Omar,

    I found out why it’s not working. Click “ignore” on the admin notice at the top of the page and you will be able to use the plugin until I’m able to fix it.
