Not working
-
I have links in my sidebar… none are opening in a new window
The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
-
I just checked and they are all opening in a new window. Please check again and refresh the page to make sure that you get the fresh page.
Note, if you use chrome they will open in a new tab, because that’s the way chrome works.
Keith
I am using chrome, they do not open in a new tab, also not working in Firefox or Edge.
I have emptied cache on my browser and the site, not working still
I just checked in Chrome, Edge, IE and Firefox. The Amazon, Indigo and Chapters links in the sidebar all open in new windows. Those are the only links that I see in the side panel.
The plugin uses JavaScript. Do you have JavaScript enabled?
Keith
After update to Woocommerce 3.4.0 this plugin does not work anymore on single product pages. All the others works perfect.
BertI’m using Firefox.
Let me know the URL of your website so I can take a look at what is happening.
Keith
Hellow Keith
I also use the plugin: Open in New Window Plugin
Links works perfect e.g. here: https://foutedrop.nl/
But not on the single product page: https://foutedrop.nl/product/deksel-lifters-set/
Same with other themes.
Bert.I see no problems. If you click on a link to foutedrop.nl it opens in the same windows. If you click on a link to an external site it opens in a new window. This is how the plugin works. Only external links open in a new window.
If you click on the red “naar de shop” it is linked to tc.tradetracker.net which is an external site and will open in a new window. If you click on the image it goes to foutedrop.nl and will open in the same window.
Please let me know if I don’t understand the problem correctly.

Keith
If you go e.g. to this page https://foutedrop.nl/product/deksel-lifters-set/
and click on the red button, to me this external link opens in the same tab.Bert
The red button is not a link. It is a FORM button that executes a form. The plugin does not look for forms.
I will see if this is something that I can add to the plugin without breaking any sites.

Keith
All other external links in WP-articles on different sites and themes work perfect.
So, I’m almost sure this is a Woocommerce 3.4.0 problem. Thanks,
BertKeith,
Till yesterday, wen I updated to Woocommerce 3.4.0 all buttons or links worked perfect and landed in a new tab.
Bert
Keith,
On my other sites with the previous Woocommerce on it there is no problem at all.
This is a Woocommerce thing. Nothing to do with your plugin. Sorry for this.
Regards,
Bert
I am working on form submits to make them act lick links. I am finding this difficult, but in a few days I should have a solution.
The next time that wordpress asks you to update this plugin, the red woocommerce buttons should work.

Keith
It’s a Woocommerce bug, nothing to do with your great plugin that works perfect on previous versions than Woocommerce 3.4.0.
But anyway, if you can help woocommerce out, thanks.
