Not working! Please help!

Hi! I am building the site for my organization. However, after installing the plugin, nothing happens. The search function can only search for “post” content but not “acf post” content. The search function is inside the hamburger menu at the top right corner.

Currently all the content inside “Awards to the U.S. & Awards to Taiwan” is built by acf. However, it seems not searchable at all…

I feel like there must be some setup mistake from my end. Please help!

Thank you for your message. First of all, I am asking you for patience – I do it out of passion in my free time, so please be patient.

I will try to help you, but I need some extra things from you:

1. Screenshot of your search results (entire browser window).
2. SQL query displayed after change in plugin code (https://gbiorczyk.pl/img/8jYkbzF.png) when you try to search for something.
3. ID of post you want to find.
4. Screenshot of the edit page of the post you want to find (show the fields in which they are values that can not be found).
5. Screenshot of the edit page of ACF Fields Group that is used in this post (show the fields in which they are values that can not be found).
6. Version of ACF plugin and version of ACF: Better Search.
7. Database dump (only table wp_posts and wp_postmeta tables). Please delete private data from it, if any.

Thank you for your message.

Please send me consistent messages. It is hard for me to find a solution without it.

In step 1 you are looking for the phrase senior research grants. In point 2 you show the query for the phrase senior scholar. In step 4 you show the ACF field, which does not contain one or the other phrase.

@mateuszgbiorczyk Our IT found a way to fix the search function by adding code to the function.php

Is there a way to delete the links I posted above? my site is currently having some issues (potentially malware). I worry that I should not share the above links publicly.
