• Hi there,

    The plugin works great for user accounts registered on my website. However, for all comments from guests (non-registered users), the initials are not displayed. Only the background color is visible (which works correctly), but no letters appear. Is this intentional?

    @astian

    The plugin should work with guest users as well and show the letters.
    Are you using a plugin to handle comments? which wp version are you using?

    Thanks for the quick response! I disabled my theme and activated a standard theme. With that, it works, and the initials appear for all users. It seems to be an issue with the theme. I’m not sure if you have any ideas for this; otherwise, I’ll reach out to the theme developer.

    Hi again @arielhr1987

    Does the plugin have any particular requirements from a theme in order to generate the initials correctly?

    Hi again! 👋

    As long as the theme correctly uses WordPress standard functions like get_avatar() and related avatar functions, the plugin should work as expected when generating the initials. If the theme overrides or bypasses these functions, that could potentially interfere with the plugin’s behavior.
