• Hi, we’ve set up restricted options for Contributors, logged in as a Contributor, and it’s showing the default for every element.

Would share what you have done and how you test them? Is hard to help in this small note.

It’s hard to say because I got this working on a dev site with the same configuration – but that was after a lot of times resaving after elements weren’t being hidden. On the production site, I got an admin notice to hide with a selector, but after deleting it and re-adding the selector, it stopped working again.

I’m using 40+ plugins and can’t deactivate them all, but nothing all that obscure – WP Rocket, Wordfence, Woocommerce…

I think I figured it out. In my Adminimize table, Contributor and Editor are reversed, so deactivating Editor made it work.

For some reason, there’s also a table with no name at the very end + a couple of tables that aren’t used anymore for deleted plugins.

One other issue that kept happening is that the checks would be deleted. I’d have to go back to the dashboard then resave the settings for it to work.
