We have gaps in order numbers but no errors in the logs that we can see, and checking support I can see that similar issues were raised a month ago and acknowledged, but no updates have been made to the plugin?
Thank you for reaching out to SkyVerge Support about our plugin, WooCommerce Sequential Order Numbers (SON)! I’m happy to assist you with this. 🙂
I understand that you are also seeing gaps in the order numbers for your site. I apologize for the issues. In the other reports, this looks to specifically involve the WooCommerce Checkout Block usage opposed to the shortcode option. Is your site currently using the WooCommerce Checkout Block?
If so, our plugin development team is actively working on correcting this bug. While there is not a current timeframe for release, I can confirm that the bugfix is in the review process.
Hi – thanks for the reply, so we don’t use WooCommerce Checkout Blocks, but we are having an issue that seems to have started after the most recent WooCommerce update. The plugin was working with no issues before, now it’s jumping sequences – most recent orders being numbered 63056, 63059, 63063, 63065 etc.
Logs aren’t showing any errors, versions are up to date. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the plugin and same issue.
Also, not sure if you are aware, but the plugin banner and icon on these ww.wp.xz.cn pages are broken image links (for me anyway) which gives the appearance of the plugin being abandoned, which I assume isn’t the case.
Thanks for following up with me on this and letting me know about the broken images. That looks to be a new occurrence. I will touch base with my team to have them check on those image links. We most definitely are still supporting this plugin. 🙂
I spun up a test site to check for an issue between Sequential Order Numbers and the latest release of WooCommerce, but it looks to be working as intended. See below:
