if I turn off all plugins besides this one it still happens. If I turn of this one you can post edits in gutenberg. Seems like this plugin.
It’s still working normally on all of my sites, and test sites. Plus this is the only report out of half a million users of it not working. So most likely there is something specific to this case that is causing it. Have you tried disabling all other plugins AND switching to the default WP theme?
