We had 301 redirects working on a sub-domain during development – no problem.

Once we moved to live mode, on a HTTPS domain, it ceased working. I tried making it a HTTP link (as the site auto redirect to HTTPS anyway)

The site is hosted on a Windows Server, so has a web.config not a .htaccess.

Any one out there able to shed some insight?

I had made three 301s, but I deleted them since I’ll need to move to a secure environment before my site goes live.

To remove those 301s:

I deleted this plugin; used a previously installed plugin called Rewrite (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/rewrite/) to “Flush rules”, a button on the plugin’s main screen; cleared my browser cache; and now I’m getting 404s again for the 301s I had created earlier.
