• We use Version 1.3.23 of WordPress Persistent Login plugin and WordPress 5.8.1. When the user log in the wordpress_logged_in_xxxxxxxxxxx cookie always get “session” as max age (Chrome browser).

We also use the plugin “Content Control” (https://sv.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/content-control/) to restrict access to certain parts of the site to specific user groups. If I inactivate Content Control, the max-age for the wordpress_logged_in_xxxxxxxxxxx cookie get the correct max-age (on year from now).

We really need Content Control. Is there some way we could make both these plug-ins work together?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, sorry for the delayed reply.

I think you would have to contact the Content Control plugin authors for this. They must be setting the cookie age themselves to make sure that users can’t revisit a page after the current session.

If their cookie is overwriting the one we put in Persistent Login, I don’t think there’s much we can do from this end I’m afraid.

    Thanks,
    Luke
