Not Working When Importing Posts From XML File

    Hi,

    I use WP All Import Pro to import posts to my website from an XML file. However everytime the posts are imported your plugin posts all of the posts to Facebook, including those which aren’t new and have already been posted to Facebook previously. Surely it should only post any posts which are new?

    Any ideas what the problem is?

    In the settings page of WP Facebook Auto Publish there is an option, Default selection of auto publish while editing posts/pages/custom post types ,set it to Disabled.

    Yeah I checked this setting and it’s definitely set to disabled (and always has been). That’s why I’m surprised your plugin is posting the old posts. The published dates of the posts in WordPress isn’t changing. So for example a post dated 15th September 2018 still gets posted to Facebook every time the Import is executed.

    Is that post added as new or updated to the existing post?
    We just checked the free version of WP All Import with WP Facebook Auto Publish.
    With the settings for disabling auto publish on edit,only new posts imported were auto published to Facebook.
    Please check the settings of WP All Import for detecting duplicate records during import. If issues persist please contact our support desk.
