Hi @intecsu,
Our plugin is designed to support the Product CSV Import and Export tool that comes built-in with WooCommerce. However, in your particular situation, you will also need to define a fixed wholesale price. Unfortunately, WooCommerce can’t perform any calculations and only imports the values that are set on the CSV file.
To overcome this, you can make adjustments to your spreadsheet application by following this link: https://snipboard.io/Poudei.jpg.
Once you have calculated the wholesale price, all you need to do is copy the value to the Meta field: wholesale_customer_wholesale_price.
Would you please give it a try and reconsider your 1-star review? Thanks 🙂
Hi Fauzan,
Thank you for your answer.
Two things to consider: if Woocommerce can’t make calculations ( I can see it can; at the time of selecting a percentage to update wholesale prices, a calculation is done), what should be the purpose of having a meta column like this “Meta: wholesale_customer_wholesale_percentage_discount”?
Secondly, mine is not a “particular situation” but an usual e-commerce administration task.
It would be a good practice to warn about the plugin’s wholesale pricing fundamental feature limitations, such as setting prices on a percentage basis in the import process, so people don’t have to make several trial and error tests.
Finally, as you may know, it’s good practice to work with plain text Calc cells to import on WordPress; the solution you provided would add two more steps, one for the calculation and the second one to convert formula cells into plain unformatted text ones.
Moreover, you should provide a support channel even for the free version to avoid one star on WordPress, which is the only way I found to make claims, get support, or warn the community.
Please inform people on your website about this plugin’s lack and provide a support channel for a free version, and I will definitely consider my stars!
Please let me know when it’s done.
Kind Regards.

Hi @intecsu
1. We can perform the calculation on the Product Editor using a JS helper that runs on the editor page. However, it is not possible to do this through the import process. I apologize for the inconvenience.
The calculation formula on the spreadsheet is simply a tool to calculate values. Once you have copied the value to the wholesale_customer_wholesale_price, feel free to delete the column.
2. What I’m referring to in this particular case was the usage of the Wholesale Percentage Discount. We have various other ways to set the wholesale price in our plugin.
We have included the information about this in our KB article that you can check here: https://wholesalesuiteplugin.com/kb/how-to-import-wholesale-data-into-your-woocommerce-store/#troubleshooting
3. Regarding support for our free plugin, we provide support through the WordPress Forum here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/woocommerce-wholesale-prices/
As you can see we actively provide support there.
I kindly request that you reconsider your review rating and give it a second thought 🙂
Thank you Fauzan, great job!
I’m glad to change rating right now and I will start using this plugin since I feel confident to get support if needed.
