• Hi,

I just purchased Visual Composer because I need to use a drag-and-drop page builder on my category pages, and because this plugin description says: “NEW Visual Composer compatible – you can now edit the category using Visual Composer”.

This isn’t true – Enhanced Category Pages doesn’t work with Visual Composer.

When I try to ‘Enhanced Edit’ a category, I just get a page with the usual WordPress editor. Visual Composer isn’t there. This plugin is throwing some PHP notices about Undefined offset: 0 and Trying to get property of non-object (three of the latter). They’re coming from Enhanced_Category.php, wp-includes/post-template.php, and wp-includes/comment-template.php.

Could you please advise. I’m not terribly happy that I’ve spent this money on Visual Composer, only to find this feature doesn’t work at all.

You should first enable VC for custom types. Go to Visual Composer -> Role Manager

Under Admin, choose Post Types -> Custom and then check all the boxes. Save changes and then go to your categories. Visual Composer should now appear in enhanced edit.

    Hope you get terribly happy.
