Not working with YITH Quick View(?)

I can’t get the plugin to work with YITH Quick View. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to work in the free version. The “render()” function in YITH_WCMG_Frontend is never called when the Ajax-Call by Quick View is made. Any idea what it could be? Thanks!
