What are my options in using this plugin? I see the exec() is not accessible via the Advanced tab and I have received this feedback from my hosting provider:

    >You will want to verify with the plugin author that it does not require
    > the exec() / exec.php or url_fopen functions, as both of those have >been disabled on our hosting for security reasons.

They have successfully installed Ghostscript, but I am thinking I will not be able to use it because exec() is not accessible.

    Hi AKayMeRoo,

Unfortunately exec is required in order to use Ghostscript.

However, you can still use Imagick without exec being available. Imagick is a bit slower than Ghostscript, but unless you’re generating thumbnails for extremely large PDFs, this should not be an issue. If the Imagick option is disabled, you’ll need to speak with your hosting provider about enabling the PHP Imagick extension.

    All the best,
    Dan

PS: If you’ve found this plugin useful, please take a moment to rate it. Thanks! 🙂
