    Hello! Within the past week, any notes I’ve written to the customer, which have always shown up on my pdfs, have disappeared. Not sure exactly when this change occurred as I don’t always write notes to the customer. But as of yesterday, they’re gone. Please advise & thank you!

    I should also mention – notes the customer writes to us DO display. Just not the notes I write to the customer, even when they are flagged appropriately.

    Are you referring to Order Notes from the right sidebar in the WooCommerce order details page? Those have never been automatically displayed in the pdf, so if they did you must have added them yourself (perhaps using this page from the documentation? Displaying order notes)

    Oooh – thank you for this! I probably did & some other update probably wiped it out. thanks for the direction. I’ll post again if I discover anything else funky.

    That was it! Thanks so much. I swear I’ve seen messages in between the end of June & now, but maybe not. Regardless, I’ll add a note to be sure to check the templates everytime you do an update. Thanks again!

    Glad to hear you found the culprit! If you use the template action hook method from the documentation or create a custom template in your child theme folder, updates will not overwrite anything. Editing files inside the plugins folder will always be overwritten by plugin updates.

    I believe it was the perfect storm of updates AND switching themes that did me in. So I’ll add that back into my list. Thanks again
