The new testimonial notification emails are not working.
Within the ‘General Options’ I have tried 2 different email addresses within the ‘Testimonial notify email address’ box – with no joy, I’m not receiving any emails when I submit the Testimonials form.

I was wondering if it was a hosting/environmental issue, but I have tested the Contact Form on the ‘Contact Us’ page, and that works fine, and I receive the emails.

So this issue is related to the ‘Testimonials Basics’ plugin – any light you can shed on this would be much appreciated.

PS: Am using ver. 4.2.3 of ‘Testimonials Basics’

    Sorry about being so late.

I will look into this when I get a chance.

I thought I solved this in the last update 🙁

Yes there was a bug on the custom option for the email. But an email should have been sent to the admin address?

I will fix this in the next update.

Hi, was this ever fixed? I am also having this problem using a typed in email for the testimonial notifications.

Yeah it will be in the next update….sorry, but the update is turning into a major overhaul, and I have only so much time.

It’s in testing now likely another couple weeks.

    Thanks for the info.

This is a bit unrelated but, will the new version have the ability to remove the email field from the input form? If not, is there a way to do this by modifying the code?

I will take a look at that.
