Notification not clearing

I notice when I have a new user to moderate I get a notification in BP about it, however going to the moderation page and completing the moderation action does not clear the notification, instead I have to go to notifications and manually mark it as read.

Any chance this behaviour can be changed to that if I complete the action the notification is automatically cleared?
